Helping the Rural People of India Financially to improve their life standards
Many Rural families want to increase their income by starting small business such as tailoring, Dairy Farming , Handlooming and Establishing small shops. Helping these people by lending small amount of money (starting from Rs. 100 /-) will significantly improve their life style. Rangde.org and Milaap.org are two social Organizations which have started this unique concept of microfinancing by which they bring together the people who needs small loans and the people who are willing to lend some money for a good cause. Small amounts starting from Rs. 100/- can be lent through this organizations and within a specific time, the borrowers return the money back. Lenders can use the returned money to lend to some one else in need or they can simply withdraw the money.

Not sure if this is the same orphanage my sister just called and asked if we could sponsor a child or donate some money. the number she called was 27700927. The sister who answered was so abrupt to a point of being rude. Needless to say I changed my mind.
